THE TERRITORY

Our farmhouse is located in the rolling hills of the Tuscan Maremma, in a central position between the sea and the mountains. It is located along an ancient
Via della Transumanza and is bordered by woods and hedges among which we grow wheat, olive trees, vines, hazelnuts and a small family vegetable garden with fruit trees.
The farmhouse offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the peasant tradition of the past but also to enjoy peace and relaxation. In all seasons, we suggest lying on the lawn to observe the sky, which at night, thanks to the total absence of light pollution, lights up with millions of stars.
An ideal destination for those who love the open countryside and want to rediscover the authentic sounds of nature.

THE FARM
Therowan it is one of the typical trees of the Maremma; it represents the magical plant of wisdom and rebirth, as well as protecting the house from negative energies. Its fruits are used in cooking to accompany game dishes while its hard wood was transformed in the past for use in many activities. In fact, his name is often associated with a tough person who rarely changes his mind.
This is also our way of thinking, in our own way, following the rules of nature and tradition of these places.
Podere Il Sorbo has received the classification of 3 sunflowers from the MiPAAF. The classification aims to offer an overall idea of the level of comfort, the variety of services and the quality of the environmental context offered.
