Agriturismo Podere Il Sorbo
Our farmhouse is located in the rolling hills of the Tuscan Maremma, in a central position between the sea and the mountains. It is situated along an ancient road.
Via della Transumanza and is bordered by woods and hedges among which we grow wheat, olive trees, vines, hazelnut trees and a small family garden with fruit trees.
The Agriturismo offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rural traditions of yesteryear, while also enjoying peace and relaxation. In any season, we suggest lying on the lawn and gazing at the sky, which at night, thanks to the total absence of light pollution, lights up with millions of stars.
An ideal destination for those who love the open countryside and want to rediscover the authentic sounds of nature.
The rowan tree is one of the typical trees of the Maremma region; it represents the magical plant of wisdom and rebirth, as well as protecting the home from negative energies. Its fruits are used in cooking to accompany game dishes, while its hard wood was once transformed for use in a variety of activities. Indeed, its name is often associated with a tough person who rarely changes his mind.
This is also our way of thinking, in our own way, following the rules of nature and the tradition of these places .
Podere Il Sorbo has received the 3 sunflowers classification from the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies (MiPAAF). This classification is intended to provide a comprehensive idea of the level of comfort, the variety of services offered, and the quality of the environmental context offered.

The Maremma is unique for the great variety of its landscapes: crystal-clear seas, sandy beaches, but also sheer cliffs, mountains and Mediterranean scrub, lakes and plains, green cultivated hills and natural spas, a network of rural farms and scenic roads.
